Celebrations: Birthday Celebration with Birthday Brigade Sg (1 February 2020) - CHILDREN'S WISHING WELL
Children’s Wishing Well (CWW) is a registered charity and IPC founded in 2002. We have won the Charity Transparency Awards accorded by MCCY from 2019 to 2023. We focus on supporting children and youth from low-income families, mainly through educational programmes and financial assistance. We reach out to over 1,000 beneficiaries each year via 2 full-service centres, 8 community sites, and collaborations with other charitable organisations. We depend solely on donations from private organisations and members of public to fund our services, while keeping all our programmes and services 100% free of charge for the children and families. We believe that by providing the children with educational support and more equal opportunities, they will be able to maximise their potential and get out of the poverty trap.

[Celebrations]

Saturday 1st February 2020

For families that can’t afford necessities, birthday parties are a luxury. Birthday Brigade Sg sponsored our January and February birthday celebrants a space-themed party at the start of February. The volunteers personally delivered a glorious spread of food, yummy chocolate cupcakes and cake pops, gifts for the birthday celebrants and goodie bags for all the children. The birthday cake is one that’s insta-worthy. Beautifully decorated to the theme, our kids were ecstatic at the sight of it. They had a great time savouring the food and spending time with their friends. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our children and their families who stayed after the party to help clean up. Special mention to a couple of our Primary 6 boys who helped move furniture and tidy the place up. We are so proud of them for taking the initiative to keep the centre clean!
