Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

Friday 20th September 2019

It was a fun-filled afternoon, courtesy of staff from Micron, who had generously contributed both their time and resources to deliver a unique FRESH session for our beneficiaries.

The actual grocery shopping was preceded by a slime-making session. The kids enjoyed the slime-making so much that they continued working on it while waiting for the parents to fetch them.

The volunteers put in their best effort to ensure that our beneficiaries did not overspend and also to spend the allocated budget on items that are healthier. Some of our volunteers shared very helpful advice with the children on issues such as not consuming too much processed meat, while at the same time displaying empathy and understanding towards why the children would tend to gravitate towards such food.
