Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

[Learning Journey]

Wednesday 26th June 2019

After a heavy downpour earlier in the day, which threatened to derail the event, we were extremely grateful for the turnabout in the weather. In fact, the weather was glorious and just right for the trek!

Ably facilitated by guides from NParks, our beneficiaries went on enriching treks along 2 different routes – Kent Ridge Park and Henderson Waves. Taking in the flora and fauna sighted during the treks, our beneficiaries not only had a good workout but also learned much along the way.

We can’t express our gratitude enough to the team from AIA for spending the afternoon with our beneficiaries. Special appreciation goes to Ms. Jae Neo, who anchored the entire event and helped put everything in place. Thank you Ms. Jae!
