Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

Friday 13th September 2019

September’s grocery packing marked the end of Groceries-For-Families as a program. And we were indeed privileged to have the team from T.RowePrice as well as our Core and Regular Volunteers for this special occasion. Our two beneficiaries came early to help with the preparation and packing as well!

While there were some hiccups, the volunteers waited patiently while the Core Team counted and re-counted to ensure everything was right.

Big Thank You to all who chipped in to pack 315 grocery bags!

And we would like to reserve special appreciation for Mr. Marcus Yeatts from T. Rowe Price, who has been instrumental in gathering his co-workers to fund-raise for and volunteer at Children’s Wishing Well on a quarterly-basis.
