16 Jul Groceries-For-Families: Ngee Ann Secondary School and T. Rowe Price (14 June 2019)

15 students from Ngee Ann Secondary School; 4 staff from T. Rowe Price, 3 beneficiaries and 3 Volunteers from Children’s Wishing Well, led by 4 of our GFF Core Volunteers. All coming together for a greater cause. And together, they achieved the impossible, as 299 grocery bags were packed within half an hour, with zero error!
It was indeed heartwarming to see volunteers from all walks of life, from all ages and stages in life, all contributing towards our program. There was no differentiation of whether this volunteer is a student or that volunteer is from a company. All served with a common purpose in mind.
And it was even more heartwarming to see 3 of our beneficiaries giving back after having received much from our generous donors and volunteers. In fact, for one of the beneficiaries, he has been staying back to help with the packing since March! We do hope this will create a ripple effect on all our beneficiaries.
Once again, thank you, to our dearest volunteers. No matter who you are and where you come from, we thank you from the bottom of our heart.
