Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

A record number of volunteers (36!) turned up for the grocery packing session on 8th February!

Packing groceries for 228 families already wasn’t easy; packing 228 grocery bags in a room filled with 40 adults made this an even sweeter achievement! Despite some inevitable chaos, the energy and enthusiasm of the volunteers shone through, and they also displayed their meticulous side when they reorganized how the grocery bags were lined up in double-quick time to confirm that there was no mistake in the packing. Simply well done! 👏👏

Thank you once again, Herbalife, for your invaluable help! Special thanks goes out to Ms. Rachel Koh for liaising with all 36 volunteers. 👍👍 We look forward to having Herbalife members with us again for future packing sessions. 😊😊

Every 2nd Friday evening of the month, volunteers gather at our centre to pack groceries for more than 100 families. Delivery takes place on the following day across the island with minimal geographical constraints. Seventy percent of our beneficiaries live in HDB flats that are 3-room or smaller.
