Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

Think Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is simply about hotel and casino? After an enriching Career GPS on 29th July 2016, students from Clementi Town Secondary School will probably never see MBS in the same light again.

The session kicked off with a segment on the issue of sustainability and how MBS has contributed to this particular area. The students got to display their creativity and inventiveness in building a 3D structure of MBS using only recycled materials.

The students also benefitted greatly from heartfelt sharing by Daniel Yong, Director of Global Media, and Justin Koh, Associate General Counsel. Valuable life lessons were imparted in a highly interactive session.

Finally, the students had to put on their thinking caps as they discussed and debated about 2 case studies that simulated what the Legal department at MBS has to deal with in their daily work.

Two participating students summed up their afternoon very succinctly:
