The Board Committee structure is as follows:
Dr Vincent Ng is a senior consultant neurosurgeon and healthcare leader based in Singapore, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Children’s Wishing Well, a registered charity and Institution of a Public Character (IPC) dedicated to supporting underprivileged children through holistic educational, nutritional, and psychosocial programmes. Dr Ng trained in neurosurgery at the National Neuroscience Institute and completed fellowships in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery, establishing himself as a regional leader in the treatment of complex brain conditions such as aneurysms, brain tumours, and traumatic brain injury. He held previous leadership roles as Head of Neurosurgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Woodlands Health, where he was instrumental in advancing patient safety, clinical innovation, and neurosurgical training. In 2025, he transitioned into private practice as a founding partner of Neurosurgery Partners at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, where he continues to provide specialist care to both local and international patients.
Beyond clinical medicine, Dr Ng is actively involved in health policy, medical education, and non-profit governance. He currently serves as Secretary General of the Asian Australasian Society of Neurological Surgeons (AASNS) and Secretary of the Clinical Neuroscience Society (CNS), where he has played a key role in regional collaboration, conference leadership, and academic programme development. His work with Children’s Wishing Well reflects his long-standing belief in addressing health and social disparities from both a clinical and community perspective.
As Chairman, Dr Ng aims to strengthen the charity’s strategic direction, enhance transparency and governance in line with the Code of Governance for Charities and IPCs, and expand outreach efforts to better serve children and youth in need across Singapore. With his background in healthcare systems and multidisciplinary coordination, he brings a unique lens to child welfare, advocating for early intervention, access to education, and long-term developmental support.
