Founded in 2002, we started as a help desk for latchkey kids. The Founder built a team that offered advice to students who seemed lost and lacked family support. Today, we provide a broad range of assistance. We offer monthly groceries, lunch pocket money and cooked dinners. Our signature program, Grant-A-Wish, helps needy students with necessities for education, health and basic living. We have thus provided spectacles, hearing aids, sports shoes or equipment, book vouchers and household items. Even fumigation services.

[Hot Meals]

Friday 28th June 2019

We welcome back the team from Morgan Stanley for our last ever session of Hot Meals. Led ably by Mr. Nick Lord, the volunteers displayed wonderful team spirit and a great sense of camaraderie as they prepared a sumptuous meal for our beneficiaries. Thank you Morgan Stanley!

And it couldn’t be any more fitting that Morgan Stanley is the team to bring the curtain down for the very program that they have made immense contributions to. Since 2016, Morgan Stanley has sponsored and volunteered for one-fifth of our Hot Meals sessions!

5 years; 23 sessions; 13 companies. And we bid farewell to Hot Meals with mixed feelings. It has been a most exhilarating journey as we open our (kitchen) door to host volunteers from different professions and all walks of life. The beneficiaries had received much through the sponsored meals; the staff had learned much through the preparation of recipes and interaction with our corporate volunteers; and we hope our corporate volunteers had a good time bonding with one another as well.

Good-bye, Hot Meals. You will be missed.
